Bob Szybist

Bob has been with the Belmont Charter Network since 2005 and currently serves as the Director of Positive Education. In this role, Bob develops and oversees Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programs at the network and helps leaders to integrate empirically validated Positive Psychology and wellness practices throughout the organization. Bob is committed to Belmont’s mission of promoting both the academic and emotional well-being of each child.

Bob holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Education (K-8 Teaching credential) from Pennsylvania State University.
Bob has two boys, one of whom is entering college this year! When he isn’t working, he can be found playing guitar and tending to his hot pepper garden.
