Out of School Time
Through our out-of-school time program, we provide students with engaging programming to supplement and support their learning. Through this extension of their learning, students get to explore through play and project based learning.
The OST program was founded in 2003 in direct response to the needs of the students and families within Belmont Charter School. It expanded to Inquiry Charter in 2017 and Belmont Charter High School in 2020.
The program offers extended school care for families while students engage in meaningful learning through project based clubs and small groups. With a mix of traditional academics and enrichment programs, students thrive with a low adult to student ratio.
Each school offers programs unique to their school population in response to the students desires and needs. For example, the PreK students at Belmont Academy are led
through programming by their school day staff in an effort to maintain the consistency of meaningful relationships. Whereas Belmont Charter Middle School and Belmont Charter High School offer a host of sports throughout the seasons.
