A Day in the Life at Inquiry Charter School

Our methods encourage creativity, support problem solving, and produce life-long learners.

Mornings at Inquiry

Each day, every class has a morning meeting where we learn about each other and have fun preparing for the day ahead.

This also helps us to build strong relationships among friends and between each teacher and student.

In the Classroom

Instruction is tailored to meet the individual needs of the students. Children are instructed at their own level to encourage their individual growth.

Eureka Math², Fishtank Learning, Fundations are some of our curricular choices.

A Healthy Lifestyle

We believe that recess plays a super important role in student learning. Physical activity optimizes learning and creates creative, social and emotional growth for our students.

We offer healthy meal choices for breakfast, lunch and snack.

School Spirit

Every Friday, our whole school gathers to celebrate our school spirit and cultivate our values of curiosity, generosity and growth.

At Inquiry, each grade band has a specific scientific theme where their curriculum dives into a core area of interest for students.

Outdoor Classroom

We explore the pond at Fairmount Park as part of our environmental education focus. The pond is our outdoor classroom.

All classrooms have makerspace materials, including Lego robotics, 3D Printers and engineering building materials.

After School

Many of the students stay after school for extended learning and fun.

Programs include art, music, science, and sports.

Parents as Partners

At Inquiry Charter School, the school staff welcome parent communication and questions. We utilize a tool called Parent Square in order to keep families connected with the happenings during the school day.

Families are our partners, we work to break the wall between school and home by showcasing our student’s work for their families. Whether during or after school, we create opportunities for our families to build connections with each other, their children and our school staff.
